The Rossmoor Woman’s Club is very proud to sponsor the Student of the Month program for students from Los Alamitos High School and the Student of the Cycle program for students at Laurel Continuation High School.
These outstanding students are chosen with the recommendation of their faculty. They are honored at the RWC monthly meeting and receive a scholarship to further their education.

Los Alamitos High School Students of the Month
Each month during the school year, the RWC honors one outstanding student from Los Alamitos High School as Student of the Month. This honor is based on academic performance and community support.
Students are honored at the RWC monthly meeting and receive a cash award for their achievements. College scholarships are awarded by RWC at the end of the school term.

Laurel Continuation High School Students of the Cycle
The Rossmoor Woman's Club is proud to support the students at Laurel Continuation with its Student of the Cycle award. Student of Cycle is the highest honor in each 6 week cycle for academic performance.
Laurel High School serves students 9-12 who are not accommodated in the regular high school program.
Students have individualized & classroom programs to fit their schedules. Twelve-step programs, individual counseling and educational plans are available to students.
RWC has actively supported the school through awards and scholarships; supplying the child care nursery, funding the technology lab among others.
The school year is organized on a 6-week cycle basis and at the end of each cycle RWC makes cash awards to students for their achievements. Scholarships for college-bound students are awarded at the end of the year.
