Farren Benjamin, a senior at Los Alamitos High School, has been involved in many activities including: Class President (Sophomore year); Community Service Commissioner, Girl's Athletic Commissioner, and Junior Honor Guard. She is also active in athletics: 4-year track & field; 6 years AYSO. Farren plans to attend USC and major in Broadcast Journalism.

The October General meeting was all a clatter with new announcements about everything from the brand new tickets for the 2007 Home Tour as well as the upcoming Opportunity Baskets. But the biggest deal this meeting was the introduction and awarding of the Students of the month that were in attendance. Each student, as you know, is selected by their school's faculty as high achievers in leadership, scholarship, athletics, arts, and community service. Each Student Of The Month is awarded $150. with the hopes that this small gift will in small measure spur them on to greater deeds of enrichment, education and service.

The September Student Of The Month, Sean Cray, is a wonderfully bright and well spoken young man from Los Alamitos High School. With his parents looking on he spoke of all the wonderful things he has done thus far with his future interest in chemistry and medicine. We are very proud to have seen this young man and equally proud we could honor him.

Kaeline Kine is our Student of the Month for the October 2007 and she is a very bright and obviously caring young lady.
